Both the Ioniq Hybrid and Electric models start with base prices under $30K—a notable difference than that of its competitors. Going against models like the Chevrolet Volt and Toyota Prius, the Ioniq’s budget-friendly price may be just the thing to put this all-new Hyundai model over the top.

The 2017 Ioniq is also unique in that it offers customers three electrified powertrains on a single platform. This model was built to give drivers impressive style and an exhilarating driving experience all while sticking to Hyundai’s global sustainability strategy.

“[The] Ioniq will attract an entirely new group of eco- and efficiency-oriented buyers in the U.S. market. With outstanding powertrain flexibility, design, connectivity, and advanced technologies, Ioniq meets the needs of a large and growing group of buyers needing a highly efficient, enjoyable to drive and low-emissions vehicle without compromise to their daily lifestyles,” according to Mike O’Brien of Hyundai Motor America.

These models combine the best in fuel efficiency, performance, innovation, and safety in a stylish package drivers are sure enjoy. Though sales reports have yet to come in, the 2017 Hyundai Ioniq is set to be a major hit for the automaker.
